Earring Care
Your earrings were handmade with lots of care - and a little love from you will keep them looking beautiful!
Keep Them Dry
Remove your earrings before showering, swimming, sleeping, or exercising. Avoid exposing them to water, hairspray, perfume, lotion, oils, and other beauty products.
Store Them Safely
Store your earrings in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight - this is especially important from resin coated pieces . Keep pairs together and avoid tossing them loose into purses, drawers, or travel bags.
Handle With Care
Polymer clay is lightweight and flexible, but it can still be damaged. Avoid bending your earrings or placing heavy objects on top of them.
Put your earrings on and take them off by holding the post or hook; avoid pulling on the clay or any beading.
Protect the Hardware
Metal components may naturally change over time depending on moisture, skincare products, and individual body chemistry. Keeping your earrings clean and dry will help preserve their finish.
Cleaning Polymer Clay Earrings
Gently wipe the clay with a soft, slightly damp cloth. For makeup marks or stubborn spots, use a cotton swab with a tiny amount of rubbing alcohol and test a small area first.
Do not soak your earrings or use harsh cleaners.
Cleaning Beaded Earrings
Use a clean, dry, soft cloth to gently remove dust or makeup. Do not soak beaded earrings, as water and cleaning products may affect the thread, hardware, finish, or color of the beads.
